WHY WE LOVE LIVING IN BELTERRA
By Jamie Avila
I remember the first time my family and I saw Belterra back in 2007. After seeing what Belterra had to offer, we knew this was the place for us. Our son, Andre, was 4 years old and we were looking for a family friendly subdivision with good schools. We discovered Rooster Spring Elementary has excellent teachers and an exemplary rating, and is within walking distance from many of the homes in the area. Also, since Belterra is in the Dripping Springs ISD, our son Andre (now 16) would get to attend the highly rated Drippings Springs Schools. Our twin boys, Finley and Tanner, will be able to attend Rooster Springs in a couple of years.
We fell in love with all of the beautiful greenbelt areas, parks, and pools. It's been so nice to be able to take our children to the pool and have lifeguards present and available. My family also enjoys going to various lifestyle events that Belterra puts on like the 4th of July Parade, Easter Egg Hunt, and Third Thursday.

I have been active in Belterra serving on the Belterra HOA Board of Realtors, the Belterra Realtor Advisory Board, the Belterra Welcoming Committee and the Belterra Architectural Modification Committee.
There is a sense of community in Belterra. We feel safe here and know that we can count on our neighbors should we need them. We are grateful that we have had the opportunity to live in this wonderful kid-friendly community and enjoy all of the amenities. We love living in a beautiful hill country setting, and yet be relatively close to downtown. As I went running this morning on the trails, I saw some deer, birds, a rabbit, and a beautiful waterfall, and I reminded myself how lucky I am to be able to experience these amazing surroundings each day in Belterra!
